White wine
The colour is pale lemon with a nice brilliance. 2025 was a rathe challenging vintage for many Muscat growers, but the nose of this does not confirm this. It is very aromatic, intense, with typical, ripe Muscat notes accompanied with notes of roses, nutmeg and bit of yeast.
Very dry, with lighter body and higher acidity levels. Ther Aromatic character on the palate is intense and lingering, showing again the whole spectrum of aromas already detected on the nose. Persistent, staying on the palate with a long finish. Excellent! Classy, typical Muscat from our region.
Dry Muscat is favourited as a great aperitif among our Austrian neighbours. It will accompany cold dishes, and slightly spicy dishes such as curry. A wonderful summer wine.
Vintage 2025: Mild winter, early budburst and flowering about one week ahead of average. Flowering was quick and even. Summer was warm and dry, with just sufficient rainfall to enable optimal ripening. Harvest started at the end of August, the second earliest to date, in good conditions. Grapes were healthy, fully ripe and quantitatively above recent vintages.
