Fully ripe grapes for Riesling »old vines« were picked from 30 years old vines from single vineyard Stylistically this one fits between Benedict and Admont line, but is closer to the later.
Colour is medium deep golden. Bouquet indicates full ripeness, with floral notes dominating, especially linden and violets with ripe yellow juicy fruits such as peaches, pineapples and lemons. A classic bouquet of a ripe Styrian Riesling. Very dry, close to full bodied, with plenty of ripe acidities. Texture is oily, finish is long.

Grilled fish and shell fish, various breaded and fried meet such as Wiener Schnietzel. Variety of poultry dishes.

2015 was warm, early vintage with good amount of ripe and healthy fruit. It was a great vintage for Riesling!
