The colour is pale golden. Nose shows Rieslings aromatic nature. It is very fruity and quite intense. Pineapple is dominant and we can find apricots, lime, nutmeg, cinnamon, bit of honey and dried linden flowers.

Bone dry on the palate with plenty of ripe and refreshing acidities which are the attribute of the cooler rainy vintage and of the variety itself. Flavour characteristics on the palate are intense, quite complex, pineapple flavour is dominant again and we can detect some mineral notes with no petroleum scents yet.

Light to medium bodied with an attractive finish inviting for another sip.

Excellent as appetiser, apart from that it is excellent with sushi, shrimps, prawns and seafood in general and not too spicy Asian food. Very varied, food friendly.

2023 winter was mild, with almost no snow. Spring was cold and wet. Flowering started rather late on the 10^st of June in warm, nice weather. Summer was rainy with several storms. On the 4^th of August catastrophic floods hit central part of the country. Maintaining the grape health was extremely challenging. Warm summer after the 10^th of August allowed for a more relaxed continuation. Harvest started on the 10^th of September and finished on the first week of October. We obtained extremely drinkable wines with a slightly lower alcohol level, aromatic and with a well-expressed varietal character. We can talk about a very good, typical vintage for Štajerska Slovenija.
